Senator Clinton, and her surrogates, continue to beat the drum of "experience" as a compelling reason for her to be elected President of the United States. This assertion requires continuous critical analysis and rebuttal. First, let us take a hard look at experience itself. At best, experience provides information; it does not guarantee wisdom and sound judgement in applying the information gained from whatever experiences one may have had or claims to have had. Senator Clinton offers living proof that experience does not bring a guarantee of wisdom and sound judgement. For all of her proclaimed experience, Senator Clinton voted to authorize the Iraq war without probing the reasons for the war offered by the administration. Add to this that Senator Clinton voted to authorize the Iraq war without having a clue as to how we would ever get out of the place. There was abundant experience for her to draw upon - Vietnam. In addition, the history of the region itself should have caused pause. No, experience does not pour forth the wisdom and judgement required of its lesson Senator Clinton, your experience has failed you miserably. Perhaps you should come up with some other reasons why you should be elected president Choose Wisely, America! Choose Wisely! © Louis C. Frayser 2007
